- The Bunheads Flexer pointe shoe ribbon has been developed to assist in the reduction of strain on the Achilles tendon. This is achieved by replacing a small section of the ribbon with a piece of elastic. The elastic is the same width and colour as the ribbon, sewn together to avoid any fraying.
